Johannesburg
  • Johannesburg is one of Africa’s largest and most vibrant cities. It is the economic capital of Africa and the gateway to Southern Africa.
  • This bustling city offers a wide range of activities, attractions and plenty to do in and around the city including nearby Pretoria.
  • Downtown is a multi-cultural mixture of traditional medicine shops, Chinese restaurants, taxi ranks and ultra-modern skyscrapers.
  • There are excellent museums, art galleries and organised tours of historical and political interest. The shopping is Southern Africa’s best, and the many restaurants cater for all tastes.
  • The nearby township of Soweto is Johannesburg’s most popular tourist attraction.
Day Itinerary (Breakfast & VIP Airport Assistance)
  • Welcome to Jo’Burg, the city of Gold! You will be warmly welcomed by our VIP ground crew who will assist with customs and luggage before taking you through to City Lodge located right at the airport for check in. You will have the afternoon to rest and recuperate at leisure.

Sabi Sand Nature Reserve
  • Adjacent to the Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve is a private premier viewing destination. It was the first-ever private nature reserve established in South Africa.
  • The landscape features 65 000 hectares of savannah-covered land interspersed with watering holes, dry riverbeds, Lowveld woodlands, and the perennial Sabi and Sand rivers.

  • After a lovely breakfast, you will once again be assisted with check out and will be taken out back to check in for your flight to Hoedspruit.

  • On arrival at Kruger International airport, you will be met by the lodge representatives and transferred to the lodge (*approx. 3 hrs*). Overnight at Nottens Bush Camp Full Board Basis including all meals, safari activities and beverages *non premium*.

  • Notten’s Bush Camp’s accommodation consists of beautifully appointed suites with open plan bedroom and en-suite bathroom. All suites have both indoor and outdoor shower facilities.
  • All windows and sliding doors are fitted with screens and insect coils are provided. Each suite at Notten’s Bush Camp leads onto a private wooden deck with a beautiful view of the bush.
  • Paraffin lamps and candles replace electric lighting for ambience and all the rooms are cooled with an overhead ceiling fan. Facilities are available for the re-charging of video machines and camera batteries in the safari lodge’s reception area. A main line telephone facility is also available.

  • Set at the confluence of the Indian and Atlantic oceans and backed by the iconic Table Mountain, the bustling city of Cape Town presents an alluring combination of drawcards. Incredible powdery white beaches, highly acclaimed wine routes, and astonishingly beautiful mountain trails surround a cosmopolitan hub.
  • This diverse metropolis is filled with superb shops and restaurants, extraordinary heritage monuments, a multitude of entertainment venues, and a spectacular, chic waterfront harbour. Highlights include the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary African Art; Table Mountain’s jaw-dropping views; Boulders Beach, where penguins might swim right up to you in the warm Indian ocean waters; the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, where you can walk along a treetop canopy among incredible native flora or watch an open-air concert at the base of the mountain; Robben Island, where visitors can see the cell where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years; and many more.

Join us as we explore the natural wonders of Table Mountain and Lion’s head, with the option to stretch your legs on the mountain hiking trails. Witness the sunrise on the famous ‘table top’ and take in the 360-degree views from the Cableway.
Day Itinerary (Breakfast) After breakfast we have organized for a full day tour of the Peninsula.

  • This tour departs around 8 am and lasts for about 9 hours. This Cape peninsula tour is crafted to give you a real Cape Town experience during which you will learn about the distinct cultures and histories of the various ethnic groups that are part of this unique and beautiful city. From the cobbled streets of the Bo-Kaap to the panoramic views along Victoria Drive and Chapmans Peak drive to the most south western tip of Cape Point, from the penguin colonies at Boulders Beach to the vibrant Kalk Bay harbour.
  • We then shall have a scenic walk in the Botanical Kirstenbosch Garden before heading back to the hotel.
